Dahiwadi College Dahiwadi was established in 1965 with an object of imparting higher education to the students from the poorest and downtrodden strata of the remote area of Satara District.
It was started with Arts stream with English, Marathi, History and Hindi as special subjects at B.A. degree level. In the year 1984, Commerce faculty imparting education in Accountancy was started. In due course of its development special subjects such as Economics, Geography, Political Science were started in the college in June 1969, June 1973, June 1985 respectively.

Science stream was started in June 1983, wiht PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BOTANY and ZOOLOGY as special subjects at B.Sc. degree course.
